1. Inch chisel

It is one inch wide and can be divided into two types: thick and thin. Usually, the big eyes of columns, beams and buckets are chiseled, and the thicker one is used. The thin inch chisel is specially used for decoration and correction of mortise profile, so it is also called thin chisel.

2. Three-point to eight-point flat chisel

It is used for punching and digging holes for large wood and decoration upper column mortise and door and window decoration.

3. One point to three points flat chisel

For door and window finishing and mortise on cores.

4. Oblique chisel

Oblique chisels are often divided into two types, large and small. Round corners for swinging eyes on windows or cutting lines.

8. Five point gouge

Generally used for small diameter holes or small rounded corners.

9. One-and-a-half to three-point gouge

Knot hook for chiseling smaller holes and fitting on the small rounded corners.
